A TIME AND A SEASON
Life is full of changes and Andrea's is taking a new path. She updates us on her kids and the new adventure her family is taking on.



CHANGING NEEDS
While our kids go through developmental and emotional changes all the time, Stella realizes it isn't just the kids changing! Read on to see why Stella's month has been one of significant change for her too.



One day as I was drinking instant mocha (when you work at home you don't have a good excuse to get to the coffee shop everyday for a real mocha!) I realized that there were moments in my day where I was truly out of my mind with annoyance, anger, frustration and other moments where I was amazed with delight and filled with a love so strong a train couldn't knock me over. All of this in one day. Often many times in one day.

This is parenting. Real highs and real lows. I know I'm not the only one. I have proof. I witness on a regular basis my friends dealing with their children - the pride when he goes potty by himself and the anger when he almost jumps on his baby brother's head after you've told him to be careful all morning.

When my first son was 2 weeks old, we joined a baby group. We met other moms (and dads) on a weekly basis, shared our highs and lows, insecurities, fears and hopes for our children. Being able to share this amazing experience called parenting meant so much to me and really helped me through that first year of his life. Three years later we have continued to meet and I have a seriously great set of friends. Most of us are now on kid number two, so play group has gotten quite large.

This website is dedicated to all parents. We know it is hard, sometimes even torturous! How can someone so small give you such a big headache...and then turn around and make you wonder what you ever did to deserve such happiness, and you wonder how you will ever survive when they move away and then you start pining away for the day they WILL move away :)

These are the real joys, real struggles and real stories of moms. Enjoy the stories, have a good laugh and realize we are all in this boat together. Parenting.
