DECEMBER 2003 I think the beginning of my downfall was when I hosted Thanksgiving. It wasn't all the food actually consumed that night, but the leftovers that got me! Darn the bad luck. Well, not bad luck, just bad choices. My next bummer was that my back went out for nearly a week. I was able to walk around, barely, but certainly in no shape to work out, so the gym was ignored for a week. Finally I went back, worked out a couple of time and then my youngest (18 months) got an ear infection and turned into a crank-monster whose only intelligible words became the chant "ma ma...ma ma...ma ma...ma ma". Needless to say, it wasn't optional for me to leave the house. So, I was away from the gym another week. And STILL eating the T-Day leftovers. Bad pie...Bad pie. I'm pretty annoyed and disappointed at the pounds that have crept back. I worked SO hard to get them off and I just allowed them to slip back on. I'm allowing myself to be mad for just a little bit, but now need to refocus on getting back to my groove; working out 3x a week and watching what goes into my mouth. I'm going to have to rethink Thanksgiving hosting next year...
