OCTOBER 2003 - THE CRIPPLING POWER OF EMOTIONS How would you like it if every day in your job you spent the entire time telling people to do all kinds of things they didn't want to do. QUICK
STATS
Mother of a 10 year old girl Emma, and twins Keith and Rose, age 8. Married for 20 years. Profession: SAHM (stay at home mom) BIO Marcia is a native Washingtonian and has lived in Kitsap County since 1990. She has been married since 1983 and has three children, Emma 10, Keith and Rose, 7. Before her kids were born she received a bachelor's degree in Sociology and a minor in History. Besides various jobs to help put her husband through school, she worked in the social work field at a parent education agency. She coordinated a teen parent mentoring program and a parent-infant support program. She has no illusions about being an expert but only hopes to bring a little humor and perspective to other parents' lives so that with her own introspection she may encourage other parents.
